Making Memories on Mother’s Day

Here at Educational Experience we love hearing about the memories that are made with our educational resources. We believe that learning experience is inexplicitly linked to memories. Some of the most valuable learning experiences are the most simple.

A Mother’s Day with dad and the kids cooking up a delightful breakfast; a Mother’s Day gift that is hand-made; a Mother’s Day games day; a Mother’s Day with visit to the beach, with a picnic lunch.

These are the memories that will last and help your child value creativity, family time and learning.

Around the office at Educational Experience we came together today to share our stories about the fondest memories of Mother’s Day.

Blair: I do remember buying things from the little stalls at school, like little potpourri cushions and soaps.

Tracee: My fondest memory as a child  was purchasing what I thought was the best gift from the mother’s day stall and then as I became a parent the breakfast in bed (which I hate eating in bed)  and the children giving me their handmade gifts or after they started school the gifts they bought from school. One time I actually saw the coffee mug under my youngest daughter’s bed and it had lollies in it and was full of ants. I had to empty the contents buy additional lollies and put back in the cup rewrap and place back. She was so excited on Mother’s Day when she gave me the gift and I could only imagine if I hadn’t found the mug first.

Troy: My kids bring home the best gifts from their preschool, but I remember before I had children I would paint the feet of our dogs and make prints on paper to give to my wife. Also, my mum loves nothing more than a good book, it is our little ritual each mother’s day.
